About PJ

Christmas 2009

I have lived in Indiana my entire life and know what it means to grow up and raise a family in our fine state. In fact, my wife and I are both Indiana born and raised. I was born in Bluffton Indiana and grew up in the rural area outside of Fort Wayne. My wife also grew up in the country on a family dairy farm in Northwest Allen County. I graduated as co-salutatorian of Carroll High School and then attended Purdue University in West Lafayette. There I received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. I currently work for Rolls-Royce as an Assistant Chief Engineer and Manager in the Future Programs group. Before graduating from college I worked a variety of jobs to pay my way through school. These jobs ranged from farm work, to assembly line work, to a warehouse job.

For the last twelve years we have lived in the Avon area of Hendricks County and are members of Kingsway Christian Church. We are raising four wonderful kids under the age of seven so the future of our state and nation is very important to us. I have no prior political experience but do have a strong foundation rooted in the principles and values that made this country great. I am a social and fiscal conservative who believes the role of government should be limited. I only know one way to work and that is to work hard. If given the chance to serve I will carry this work ethic to Washington.
